These Retreat Booking Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made for retreats and events organised and sold by More Myself.

Please read these Terms carefully before making a booking. By making a booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. About More Myself

More Myself is a sole trader business operated by:

Sarah Pretty-Geczy trading as More Myself
Email:moremyselfretreats@gmail.com

In these Terms:

  • “More Myself”, “we”, “us” or “our” means Sarah Pretty-Geczy trading as More Myself

  • “You” or “your” means the person making the booking and any other person attending the retreat under that booking

  • “Retreat” means the specific yoga retreat described in your booking information

  • “Booking” means your confirmed booking for a retreat

  • “Retreat price” means the total price payable for the retreat package you have booked

2. Your retreat booking

Our retreats may combine accommodation with yoga, wellbeing activities, workshops, meals and other experiences.

The specific services included in your retreat will be set out in the retreat description and your booking confirmation.

Depending on the particular retreat, your package may include:

  • Accommodation

  • Yoga practices

  • Meditation, breathwork or other wellbeing practices

  • Workshops

  • Meals and refreshments;

  • Sound baths or similar experiences

  • Other activities specifically stated as included in your retreat description.

The exact inclusions may vary between retreats. Please read the information relating to the specific retreat carefully before booking.

Unless expressly stated as included, the following are not included:

  • Travel to and from the retreat venue

  • Travel insurance;

  • Personal spending

  • Alcoholic drinks;

  • Optional activities;

  • Additional treatments or services

  • Transport during the retreat, unless specifically stated

  • Any other service not expressly listed as included

3. Making a booking

You may make a booking through the booking method specified for the particular retreat.

A booking is confirmed once:

  1. You have provided the information requested from you

  2. You have accepted these terms and conditions

  3. We have received the required deposit or full payment

Once your booking has been confirmed, a contract exists between you and More Myself.

Your booking confirmation will include the important details of your retreat, including the retreat dates, location, accommodation arrangements, price, payment schedule and what is included.

Please check your booking confirmation carefully and tell us as soon as possible if any information appears to be incorrect.

4. Retreat prices

The total price of your retreat will be displayed or confirmed before you complete your booking.

The price includes the services expressly stated in the retreat information and booking confirmation.

Unless stated otherwise, the price does not include travel to or from the retreat venue, travel insurance or personal expenses.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If a genuine pricing error affects your booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

5. Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your place on the retreat.

The amount of the deposit will be stated at the time of booking.

Your place is not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

The deposit is paid to secure your place and to enable us to make arrangements and commitments relating to the retreat, including accommodation and other retreat services.

The deposit is generally non-refundable if you cancel your booking, subject to your statutory rights and the cancellation provisions in these terms and conditions.

Where a cancellation occurs, the amount retained by More Myself will be determined in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms and the reasonable, non-recoverable costs and commitments associated with your booking.

6. Payment of the remaining balance

Unless otherwise stated in your booking confirmation, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 28 days before the start date of the retreat.

Bookings made within 28 days of the retreat start date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

If your balance is not paid by the due date, we may contact you to request payment.

If payment remains outstanding after reasonable notice, we may treat your booking as cancelled by you and apply the applicable cancellation charges.

You remain responsible for any payment due under your booking unless and until we have confirmed in writing that your booking has been cancelled or transferred.

7. Late bookings

We may accept bookings made within 28 days of the retreat start date where spaces remain available.

Any late booking must be paid in full at the time of booking.

By making a late booking, you acknowledge that there may be limited time to make changes to accommodation, dietary arrangements or other retreat services.

8. Cancelling your booking

If you need to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing by email.

The date on which we receive your written cancellation will be treated as the date of cancellation.

Because we make advance commitments in relation to accommodation, food, suppliers and other retreat services, the amount refundable will depend on how far in advance you cancel and the costs we have incurred or are committed to incurring.

Unless a different cancellation policy is stated for your specific retreat, the following cancellation policy will apply:

Cancellation more than 60 days before the retreat

You will receive a refund of payments made, less:

  • The deposit

  • Any reasonable, non-recoverable costs incurred or committed by More Myself in connection with your booking

Cancellation between 60 and 29 days before the retreat

You will receive a refund of any amount paid, less:

  • The deposit

  • Any reasonable, non-recoverable costs incurred or committed by More Myself in connection with your booking.

Depending on the specific retreat and the costs already committed, some or all of the remaining balance may be retained.

Cancellation 28 days or less before the retreat

No refund will generally be due where the costs associated with your booking cannot reasonably be recovered.

However, we will take reasonable steps to reduce our losses where possible, including attempting to resell your place where reasonably practicable.

If your place is successfully resold, we may provide a refund of some or all of the amount you have paid, less:

  • The deposit

  • Any reasonable costs incurred in arranging the replacement booking

  • Any other reasonable, non-recoverable costs associated with your original booking.

Any refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis based on the actual circumstances and costs involved.

Nothing in this section affects any cancellation or refund rights that you may have under applicable law.

9. Transferring your booking to another person

If you are unable to attend the retreat, you may ask to transfer your booking to another person.

You are responsible for finding the person who will take your place.

A transfer is only valid once:

  1. You have identified the replacement attendee

  2. The replacement attendee has agreed to attend the retreat

  3. Both you and the replacement attendee have confirmed the transfer to More Myself in writing

  4. The replacement attendee agrees to these terms and conditions and any other applicable retreat requirements

  5. More Myself has confirmed the transfer in writing

The replacement attendee must meet any reasonable requirements applicable to the retreat.

This may include requirements relating to age, room arrangements, health and safety or other matters relevant to the specific retreat.

You may be required to pay reasonable costs arising from the transfer, including any costs charged by accommodation providers or other suppliers.

Until More Myself has confirmed the transfer in writing, you remain responsible for the booking and any outstanding payment.

10. Changes to your booking

If you request a change to your booking, we will try to accommodate your request where reasonably possible.

Changes may include requests relating to:

  • Accommodation

  • Room arrangements

  • Dietary requirements

  • Additional guests

  • Other aspects of the retreat

We cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.

Any additional costs arising from a requested change may be charged to you.

If we need to make a significant change to the retreat, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and provide any rights or options required by applicable law.

12. Cancellation of a retreat by More Myself

We reserve the right to cancel a retreat where this is reasonably necessary.

This may include circumstances where:

  • There are insufficient bookings to operate the retreat

  • The venue becomes unavailable

  • A key supplier is unable to provide their services

  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control make the retreat impossible or unsafe

  • Cancellation is otherwise necessary for legal, health or safety reasons

If we cancel a retreat, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where applicable, we will offer the options and refunds required by law.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

  • A transfer to an alternative retreat date

  • An alternative arrangement

  • A refund of amounts paid for services that we are unable to provide

We will not generally be responsible for additional costs you have incurred independently, such as travel arrangements, unless required by applicable law.

13. Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided as described in the information for your specific retreat.

Room types, occupancy and sharing arrangements will be explained during the booking process.

Specific room requests are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.

You agree to treat the accommodation, furnishings and facilities with reasonable care.

You may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing property damaged by you or someone in your booking party, except where the damage results from ordinary wear and tear.

The accommodation provider may have additional terms and conditions that apply to your stay.

14. Yoga and physical activities

Yoga, movement, breathwork and other activities offered during our retreats involve physical activity.

You participate voluntarily and are responsible for making choices appropriate to your own body, health and circumstances.

15. Health and suitability

You are responsible for deciding whether the retreat and its activities are suitable for you.

If you are unsure whether yoga, exercise, breathwork, sauna, cold water exposure or any other activity is suitable for you, you should seek appropriate medical advice before participating.

We may reasonably ask you not to participate in a particular activity where we believe participation could create a serious risk to your health or safety or the safety of others.

You must provide us with accurate and complete information that we reasonably request for the safe operation of the retreat.

16. Allergies and dietary requirements

You must tell us about any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements as early as possible and no later than the deadline specified in your booking information.

We will take reasonable steps to accommodate dietary requirements that have been disclosed to us in advance.

However, we cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from allergens.

Food may be prepared in shared kitchens or facilities where other allergens are present.

If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please contact us before booking so that we can discuss whether we can safely accommodate your needs.
